                  A.	Believe in the fundamental principles of the Christian faith as contained in the Holy Scripture, and accept the New Testament as the sole doctrine of Baptists.

                Membership Covenant
Having received Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord and been baptized, and being in agreement with First Baptist Church’s doctrine, mission, and governance, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the First Baptist Church family. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to Christ’s body, the Church, to know Him and make Him known through loving and serving others.

                    - I will embrace the mission of my church

…by seeking the lost …by sharing a loving witness …by making disciples

                    - I will share the responsibility of my church

…by praying for its growth	…by inviting the unchurched to attend …by warmly welcoming those who visit

                    - I will serve the ministry of my church

…by discovering my gifts and talents …by being equipped with a servant’s heart ...by engaging in active ministry

                    - I will support the testimony of my church

…by attending faithfully …by living a godly life …by giving regularly

                    - I will protect the unity of my church

…by acting in love toward other members ...by turning from gossip and destructive criticism …by supporting the congregation’s leaders
